Junior Warehouse Team Lead

Operations & Supply chain

In a nutshell

Every day, we collect thousands of groceries in our Distribution Centres (DCs). In our DC Geldermalsen, we will focus on Fruit and vegetables as the product. The Fruit and vegetables are then sent to our Fulfilment Centre's throughout the country. From there they are delivered via our last mile delivery location (hubs) to our customers using our electric Picnic vehicles. In our DC, there could be more than 100 employees working per day, with everyone contributing to an on-time and efficient service. Shoppers are responsible for collecting the groceries, and a Junior Team Lead is responsible for a group of shoppers. As a Junior Team Lead, you are the fore(wo)man of your team of Shoppers. You are responsible to guide, motivate and train the team you are working with. This is an operational role where we expect you to lead by example by performing typical Shopper activities, just like any other team member! You also have the extra responsibility to keep the process running smoothly and the area clean and safe. Are you up for a new challenge, this is your chance!
