With your team you take full responsibility for your category, with the goal to make customers happy and improve profitability.

Key to your success as a Senior Category Manager is your ability to work alongside analysts to draw key observations and translate the insights into commercial actions.

Commercial initiatives: Develop and implement initiatives across assortment, pricing, promotions, and packaging to maximize commercial impact.

Supplier management: Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and drive collaboration to ensure high-quality products and smooth operations.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Customer Service to align initiatives, resolve challenges, and deliver results.

Data-driven decisions: Analyze category performance and customer insights to make informed strategic decisions that drive measurable impact.

Continuous improvement: Identify and implement improvements in processes, product offerings, and category performance.

Your superpowers

Master’s degree with exposure to analytical problem-solving

4-6 years of work experience, preferably as a category manager and/or buyer in a commercial and analytical environment

Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights
black dot
Excellent negotiation and commercial skills with a proactive mindset
black dot
Ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders across the business
black dot
Drive to deal with day-to-day operations, swift problem-solving skills

A genuine passion for food and/or consumer products 
black dot
Fluent in English (Dutch, French or German is a plus!)
