Junior Project Lead - Facility

backend 1696602644

In a nutshell

As a Project Lead in our International Facility Management team, you are the backbone of the building infrastructure that powers our supply chain. Bridging the gap between international strategy and local execution, you will lead projects that directly improve safety, quality, and efficiency across our fulfillment centers and hubs in the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

We are looking for an executional driver: You take ownership of operational challenges, spend time on-site to identify problems, and propose and implement practical, data-driven solutions. You will spend roughly 20% of your time on-site and ensure you are present exactly when and where the impact is highest. With the authority to make real decisions and manage budgets, you will use operational logic and sharp communication to turn "flagged issues" into "implemented solutions."

Tricks of the Trade

Project Management & Process Standardization

green dot

Lead capability projects: Take ownership of improvement projects (e.g., 24/7 on-call support, emergency lists, site entry protocols, maintenance risk analysis).

green dot

Structure & delivery: Turn problems and opportunities into solutions. You break down problems, propose solutions, create realistic timelines, and ensure delivery.

green dot

Harmonize operations: Design and implement standardized FM procedures and policies that work internationally while accounting for necessary local exemptions.

green dot

Procedure governance: Act as the guardian of the "Picnic Standard." When a local Facility Manager creates a working instruction, you critically review it for scalability

Stakeholder Management & Support

green dot

Cross-functional alignment: Work directly with Quality & Safety (QS), Budgeting, and Operations teams to ensure FM projects align with broader company goals.

green dot

Chasing & unblocking: You proactively chase stakeholders for input and do not hesitate to escalate when projects are blocked.

green dot

On-site engagement: Regular presence on-site (workshops, audits) to understand the physical reality of the processes you are designing.
