We're looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who combines sharp technical tax knowledge with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. You aren’t just executing compliance tasks; you’re a strategic thinker who understands how efficient tax processes fuel our international growth. As we build a best-in-class Finance function, you’ll focus on Indirect Tax (VAT) and Tax Reporting, moving away from manual execution to scalable, automated solutions. You take full ownership of tax processes across our international entities, bridging the gap between external advisors and internal teams. You don't wait to be told what to do - you spot opportunities for improvement and just do it. Review & ensure accuracy: Oversee and review international tax filings to guarantee absolute accuracy (you will be overseeing the process, not acting as the pure primary preparer).

Process improvement: Drive automation and efficiency within our tax processes to significantly reduce manual work and build future-proof workflows.

Strategic scaling: Set up scalable tax processes per country and act as a key financial partner in supporting new market entries and international setups.

Knowledge transition: Coordinate closely with external tax advisors while actively transitioning critical tax knowledge from advisory partners to our in-house teams.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work seamlessly with our internal FinTech and INT teams, managing non-invoice-based tax impacts and optimizing our team setup.

Your superpowers

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, and/or similar field.
green dot
3–5 years of relevant experience in tax and tax process automation (preferably with experience at an in-house tax function, or tax advisory)

Strong expertise on Indirect Tax (VAT), Tax Reporting, and Strategy, with a proven track record of process improvement and automation.

Proactive, ownership-driven, and highly process-oriented. You are a builder who wants to move beyond execution-heavy, pure compliance roles.

ERP-system knowledge (Workday is a big plus).

Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
